Polimera 2 Story:

Jangaiah (Baladitya) goes in search of his missing brother Komuraiah (Satyam Rajesh). In the meantime, Ravindra Naik (Rakendu Mouli), the new SI, comes to Jasthipalli to investigate the mysterious deaths in the village. Simultaneously, an archaeology department group shows interest in visiting a shuttered rural temple. Komuraiah is where? What mysteries lie within the temple? Was Jangaiah able to locate his brother? Does Komuraiah have any connection to the temple? The movie will reveal the solutions to these riddles.

Positives:

What’s interesting is how well director Anil Vishwanath develops the story, highlighting the interpersonal interactions between the characters. He persuasively relates things.The way Satyam Rajesh portrayed Komuraiah is excellent. He stays mostly mute and depends on his facial expressions, but he nevertheless gives a passable performance.In the second hour, Sri Kamakshi Bhaskarla’s crucial part in the movie comes to life. Her acting is understated and straightforward. Getup Srinu, Rakendu Mouli, and the other performers do their best to maintain the audience’s interest.The second half’s many unexpected twists and turns keep the audience enthralled. The soundtrack greatly enhances the movie as well.

Negatives:

The director briefly discusses the temple enigma in the second part but doesn’t go into detail. A more compelling narrative centered on the enigmatic temple would have made it such. Rather, the director primarily concentrates on making links between historical events and contemporary occurrences. Although the story is good, a stronger first half of the screenplay could have improved the movie’s appeal. Rakendu Mouli doesn’t look like the best fit for the role, thus the director might have chosen a more well-known actor to make the film more appealing. There are a few terrifying sequences in the movie that might not be relatable to most viewers, especially those with young children.

Technical Details:

Because the director intends for this to be a franchise, not all the mysteries are answered in this follow-up. Although the goal is admirable, a compelling narrative and a sensual script are required to hold the audience’s interest. Gyaani does an amazing job with the music, giving intensity to various sections in both halves. In particular, the scene in the temple where snakes encircle the lead is noteworthy. A big part of this style of film is the cinematography. Regretfully, Kushedar Ramesh Reddy’s output falls short of expectations. The viewers may grow weary of the frequent flashbacks after a while. feel disconnected. Eliminating a few of these times could have made the whole experience better. Production values are of high quality.
